Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Kuramate subscriptions (Premium / Premium Plus) are managed through your App Store account. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top of the screen
- Select Subscriptions
- Pick Kuramate from the list and tap Cancel Subscription
Plan summary:
- Premium — Monthly or yearly. Removes ads, 50 AI uses per day, custom colors, and more.
- Premium Plus — Monthly or yearly. Removes ads, 150 AI uses per day, up to 300 saved meal plans, and more.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (standard App Store behavior).
- The current price for your region is shown in the App Store.
2. How do I restore purchases on another device?
As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID, you can restore your subscription with these steps:
- Open Kuramate
- Go to Settings > Manage Plan
- Tap Restore Purchases near the bottom of the screen
If the restore fails, make sure the App Store is signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the subscription.
3. How do I delete my account?
You can delete your own account from Settings > Account > Delete Account. If you are unable to access the app, email [email protected] from your registered address and we will delete it for you.

4. How do groups and invite codes work?
Kuramate's sharing features let you invite another person with an invite code.
- The group owner creates a group from Settings > Groups and generates an invite code.
- The invited person opens Settings > Groups > Join a Group and enters the code.
- Once both sides accept, transactions, meal plans, shopping lists, calendar events, and tasks are shared.
When you leave a group or remove a member, further writes are blocked immediately. See our Privacy Policy for how shared data is handled.
5. Are there limits on AI receipts and meal planning?
AI features have a daily usage limit that depends on your plan.
- Free: a small number of trial uses
- Premium: up to 50 AI uses per day
- Premium Plus: up to 150 AI uses per day
You can check your remaining uses in Settings > Manage Plan. AI features are optional — budgeting, meal planning, and the shopping list all work without them.
6. My data won't sync or the screen keeps loading
Please try the following:
- Check that your network connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) is stable
- Fully quit Kuramate and reopen it
- Update iOS / Android and the Kuramate app to the latest versions
